Ron Thompson, President and CEO  |  Organizer of A Designer's Foundation, Ron Thompson is a business owner, investor and designer. Beginning his career at the age of 17 designing t-shirts in his hometown of Duncanville, Texas, Ron is now a 17-year veteran in the communications arts and advertising industry.  Ron has managed multi-million dollar creative teams for both in-house corporations and advertising agencies. An expert in the development of social-purpose media, Ron has a long history of working on committees and boards with nonprofit organizations in the Dallas area. He currently sits on the advisory boards for the Transition Resource Action Center in Dallas serving teenagers in substitute care, and the Collin County Committee on Aging in McKinney serving the frail elderly and isolated homebound. He is also a member the board of directors for the Duncanville Community Theatre and was the 2003 Volunteer of the Year for the Sammons Center for the Arts in Dallas, Texas.

Eileen Yedwab, Vice President  |  Eileen Yedwab is the lead Senior Account Director for AMS Production Group (the largest advertising production company in the Southwest) and has been in the film and video production industry for over 12 years. She has brought in and managed such esteemed clientele as EDS, Concentra, Accenture, American Heart Association, Levenson & Hill, Zale Corporation and TXU.

Heidi Berthiaume, Secretary and Treasurer  |  Heidi Berthiaume has over 10 years consulting experience in information architecture for one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. Working with clients such as Hilton, HP and 3M, her organization skills and attention to detail help create meaningful online user experiences while achieving client business goals. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.

J.A. Lohmann, Industry Relations Officer  |  Jay Lohmann is the Founder of several companies to include TagTeam Creative Advertising & Design, Incite Public Relations, and TheFreelanceNation.com – a network of 119 local freelance job boards. He is an offline and online marketing expert who uses strategic advertising, copywriting, graphic design, website / User Interface design, search engine optimization, social marketing and other tactics to enhance the revenues and reputations of  clients that range from the individual contractor to Fortune 10 companies.

Lance Olshovsky, Public Relations Officer  |  Lance Olshovsky is a Houston-based media relations professional who specializes in public relations and event coordination for upscale retail, fashion, Internet and non-profit organizations. His clients have included Louis Vuitton, Versace, The Houston Polo Club, Cartier, Gucci, among many others, and has also coordinated media coverage for visits to Houston by several members of the British, Swedish, Romanian and Spanish Royal families, as well as, the Japanese Imperial family.

Lisa Pickering, Legal Affairs Officer  |  Lisa Pickering is an attorney practicing in Los Angeles, California. She has successfully represented clients in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Board of Immigration Appeals, and Federal District Courts. She is licensed to practice law in California, and holds a J.D. degree from The University of Houston Law Center, and a B.A. in Politics from Scripps College, Claremont, CA.

Joanna St. Angelo, Ex Officio  |  Joanna St. Angelo is the Executive Director of the Sammons Center for the Arts in Dallas, Texas. The launch of this program is being incubated at the Sammons Center for the Arts in Dallas, Texas. Not an official program of the Sammons Center, the Sammons Center is providing valuable management, administrative, and technical support. A Dallas landmark, the Sammons Center for the Arts is the largest and oldest arts incubator in the country, encouraging innovation and leadership in the arts community.
