A Designer's Foundation | Communications is one of the most critical yet under-addressed issues within the nonprofit sector. When we help charities better communicate their missions to those who need help and to those who can help, we ultimately make their services more accessible to the public. In doing this, we help improve lives, communities, and the environment in ways that simply aren't being done.

A Designer's Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity incubated at the Sammons Center for the Arts in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1999, The Foundation is managed and staffed by volunteers and is funded through the generosity of the creative community. It is the cumulative result of eight years developing strategies and implementing deliverables that provide pro bono communications and outreach projects to nonprofit organizations. Volunteer-run and privately-funded, these projects have spanned a continuum of approaches from matching graphic design volunteers to producing television commercials for collaborations.
